Misfortunes continued...

I think what Rachel ment I was shfitzin' but who wouldn't be in that heat? As for the burn, not too bad - not sure I made it through the "jump rope of fire" but I tried!
Unfortunately the trail has continued since - this morning I got an alarming email from my mom about Master Card blocking my credit card due to unauthorized use. I had not notified them that I was in Thailand, and I had not used my card in the past 6 weeks, so I guess it came as a surprise to both of us. A good thing because I had not checked my wallet for that. I think I saw my wallet yesterday so I am pretty sure it is there, minus one card. I hope. There was American cash in the same place, in a inner pocket of my huge bag. But the bus to and from Koh Phangang are notorious for theft, and though we were careful on the way down, I was careless on the way back. We also had our camera stolen so we will get a police report for insurance purposes. I wonder what else is missing? Anyways, we heard about the typhoon but were not subjected to any bad weather aside a few drops on a few of the nights..
Hope all is well back home! We will be back soon!

On a bus ride, the way back from Had Rin

Was a bag,unattended,what a sin,
'Til a thief, swift and hard,
Picked up Jays' Mastercard,
And proceeded to buy EVERYONE din-din !

As today is International Limmerick Day,and because of the thefts,and the weather,this is what I propose;
'With Jonathan and Rachel both in Thailand,
Spending time on a warm rain-swept island,
She said," Jay don't you see,we'll have sun in Bali,
So don't waste your time in this wet sand!"

and
'With all of the things that you have lost,
It's so hard to measure, all the cost,
'Cause whatever goes missing, you still can be kissing,
And in Asia, you've missed all of our frost.'

Jay and Rachel, Rachel and Jay. Although I check the blog all the time, I don't recall leaving a comment in a little while. No updates this time, but Dad's adorable little rhymes and Susan's fabulous enthusiasm keeps the rest of us happy. Right about now you're most likely waking up, or are already up, and starting another day of your trip :) Hope all is well (sure it is), and we all look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks. It will have been just about 4 months! Amazing :) Mtl has reverted back to a more typical Spring, meaning it's cool at night and warm in the day's sun. Take max advantage of the HOT & TROPICAL weather, and bring some of it back if you get the chance...

Silly Jmatte had his Gmail account opened though I was writing the last comment, so it showed up as someone else. Alas, it was only me.... Maybe I'll add this: bring us the hot weather even sooner than previously mentioned ;)

The Last time you posted an update,
Inspired us,and made us feel great,
But a week has gone by,
With no post, tell us why,
Or we'll all have to ask for a rebate !
And I'm not kidding !
